LOCAL INFORMATION

Registration

People wishing to participate should send an email to Pirkko Drakos, Pirkko.Drakos@hkkk.fi by April 20 with the following information:

- Date of arrival and departure

- Do you need a hotel room? Non-smoking/smoking? For how many nights?

- Dietary requirements

- Do you participate in the dinner on May 14?

Workshop Venue

Helsinki Center for Economic Research, Economicum Building, Arkadiankatu 7, 00100 Helsinki, Seminar room 1 (at the entrance floor).

You can find a map at http://kartta.hel.fi/. After choosing proper language, you can search for the map by writing Arkadiankatu 7 to the street address box.

A PC and data projector for Power Point presentation, and an overhead projector are available for participants' use.

Accommodation

The organizers cover all the accommodation costs of all the participants (breakfast is included).

The workshop venue is 100 meters away from the hotel, the hotel location is on the same map as the conference venue.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around € 30, the Finnair airport bus to the railroad station costs € 5, railroad station is 300 meters from the hotel.

Reimbursements and travel expenses

The organisers will cover economy airfare tickets for Ph.D students and keynote speakers. An expense claim form can be printed from this home page. Please complete the form and return it with ticket stubs to Ulla Strömberg (Ulla.Stromberg@helsinki.fi) to HECER no later than two weeks after the workshop.
